Do you serve breakfast?
Yes. A generous local breakfast with fresh tropical fruit is included and served each morning on the covered lanai overlooking the garden and ocean. Dietary preferences can be accommodated on request.
Is parking available?
Yes - free private parking is available on site and no reservation is needed. Street parking and accessible parking are also available.
Is there a swimming pool?
There is no pool on site. Guests enjoy the private beach area, the open-air hot spring bath and swimmable Kehena Black Sand Beach around 4.8 km up the coast.
Is there a restaurant on site?
Breakfast is served on site each morning. For lunch and dinner, our hosts will gladly recommend restaurants and cafés in nearby Pāhoa and along the coast.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM and check-out is until 11:00 AM. Guests are asked to present a photo ID and credit card at check-in.
Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not allowed at the property.
Is smoking permitted?
The entire property is non-smoking. A designated smoking area is provided outdoors.
How close is the beach?
Kaimu Beach is only a few steps from the property. Swimmable Kehena Black Sand Beach is around 4.8 km away.
Is there a shuttle from the airport?
A shuttle service can be arranged for an additional charge. A rental car is strongly recommended for exploring the island.
How far is Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park?
Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park is around 8 km from the lodge.
